Aditya Srivastava is indeed an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films, television, and theatre. He gained significant popularity for his portrayal of Senior Inspector Abhijeet in the long-running television series C.I.D. Some of his notable Bollywood films include "Satya," "Gulaal," "Lakshya," "Paanch," "Black Friday," "Kaalo," "Super 30," and "Dil Se Pooch Kidhar Jana Hai."
During his graduation years at Allahabad University, Aditya Srivastava actively participated in theatre plays at Sangeet Samiti in Civil Lines, Allahabad. In 1989, he moved to Delhi to further refine his acting skills and pursue a career in the field. In Delhi, he primarily focused on theatre work at the Sri Ram Center of Performing Arts. It was during this time that he caught the attention of filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor, which led to his first break in the movie "Bandit Queen," where he played the character Puttilal.
In 1995, Aditya Srivastava relocated to Mumbai (then Bombay) and began working in the entertainment industry. Initially, he lent his voice for promos and advertisements and also appeared in significant episodic roles in TV shows like "Byomkesh Bakshi," "Rishtey," and "Aahat." He gained prominence through his roles in TV shows such as "Naya Daur," "9 Malabar Hill," and "Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti," where he had substantial and memorable roles.
In 1997, Aditya Srivastava decided to take a break from television to focus on his film career. Throughout his journey, he has showcased his talent and versatility across various platforms, leaving a lasting impression on the audience with his performances.
