Shreya Dhanwanthary is a talented Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi and Telugu language films and web series.
She gained significant recognition in 2019 with her role as Zoya in the Amazon Prime Video web series "The Family Man." This breakthrough role opened doors for her and brought her widespread critical acclaim. However, she gained even more acclaim for her portrayal of journalist Sucheta Dalal in the Sony LIV web series "Scam 1992" in 2020. Her performance in the series garnered immense praise from both critics and audiences.
Shreya Dhanwanthary began her journey in the entertainment industry after participating in Femina Miss India South 2008 while she was still a third-year engineering student. She secured the position of 1st Runner-Up in the event and went on to compete as a finalist in Miss India 2008.
Following her participation in Miss India, she received offers to appear in Telugu films such as "Josh" and "Sneha Geetham." She later made her Bollywood debut with the film "Why Cheat India" opposite Emraan Hashmi.
In addition to her acting career, Shreya Dhanwanthary is also an author. She has authored a book titled "Fade to White."
In 2019, she reprised her role as Zoya in the second season of "The Family Man," which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in June 2021. In 2020, she portrayed the character of Sucheta Dalal in the critically acclaimed web series "Scam 1992." Furthermore, she appeared in the Amazon Prime web series "Mumbai Diaries 26/11" in 2021, playing the role of Mansi. The series, directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Emmay Entertainment, also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, and Tina Desai in lead roles.
