Shilpa Shukla made her acting debut in the film "Khamosh Pani" (Silent Waters) in 2003, directed by Sabiha Sumar. However, she gained significant recognition for her role as Bindiya Naik in the critically acclaimed film "Chak De! India" (2007), directed by Shimit Amin. Her portrayal of a hockey player in the film garnered her widespread praise and earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
