Charu Shankar is a multifaceted artist known for her talents as an actor, dancer, and choreographer. After completing her education at Modern School, she pursued her passion for literature and earned a Masters degree in English from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University. Her journey into the world of dance began during her college days at The Danceworx, where she trained extensively and became part of the repertoire company from 2002 to 2005.
Throughout her career, Charu Shankar has embraced various creative avenues, playing significant roles in films, web series, and short films. Notably, she gained recognition for her remarkable portrayal of Mehrunissa in Epic Channels' flagship show "Siyaasat" and received widespread acclaim for her depiction of Indira Gandhi in the award-winning web series "Rocket Boys" on Sony Liv.
