Amrita Arora is an Indian actress, model, television presenter and video jockey, who primarily appears in Hindi-language films. She was born on January 31, 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to a Punjabi Hindu father and a Malayali mother. She is the younger sister of actress Malaika Arora.
Amrita Arora began her career as a model and appeared in several advertisements, including those for Ponds, Elle 18, After Smoke, and Sunsilk Fruitiness. She then made her acting debut in the 2002 film Kitne Door Kitne Paas, which was a commercial failure.
