Abhilash Thapliyal is an Indian radio jockey, film actor, and TV host. He has worked with several Indian and global radio stations and has lent his voice to various television channels as a voice actor. After his stint with Red FM as a radio jockey, Abhilash took a break and made his film debut in Aleya Sen Sharma's directorial debut film, "Dil Juunglee," starring alongside Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem.

Born in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, Abhilash's father was a retired Army officer, and his mother is a homemaker. He completed his schooling from Army Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya and graduated in journalism and mass communication from Delhi University.

Abhilash began his career while he was an undergraduate student at Delhi University. He has worked with radio stations like 94.3 Radio One, Fever 104 FM, and 93.5 Red FM. He has also provided his voice for various TV channels, including Bindass, National Geographic, Fox History, Hungama, and Cartoon Network. Abhilash gained attention when he promoted a fundraising campaign for Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, a dedicated Sachin Tendulkar fan, and sponsored his travel tickets to the Champions Trophy 2017. This act earned him a congratulatory call from Sachin Tendulkar himself. Abhilash has also made an appearance on "The Kapil Sharma Show."

In 2014, Abhilash made his TV debut as a host for the World Kabaddi League. He went on to become the in-stadium host for Formula 1 and the host for the cricket team Delhi Daredevils in the IPL seasons of 2013, 2014, and 2015. He has also hosted the red carpet for GiMA in 2016. Abhilash holds the distinction of being the first radio jockey in India to do live video prank calls on Facebook.
